Download Our FREE Detailed Express Entry Document Checklist - 2022
In our previous blogs, we discussed the exciting announcement made by the IRCC where Express Entry is confirmed to continue in July 2022. Additionally, we recently offered you all the insider tips on how to prepare for the reopening of the Express Entry program and successfully create a complete profile.
Once your profile has been submitted and you've received your ITA (Invitation to Apply), you'll only have 60 days to complete and submit your application. While it seems like enough time, there might always be room for error and you need to come prepared with all if not most of your documentation before you receive your ITA.
We have created a FREE Express Entry checklist that you can download which includes the documents needed for the principal applicant, your partner/spouse, and your dependants. This will allow you to keep track of your documentation and make sure you've checked them all off the list before submitting your application.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR express entry?
Ideal Express Entry candidates have a university or college degree, skilled work experience and intermediate to high English and/or French proficiency.
Candidate profiles can only be submitted through the Express Entry system if they meet eligibility requirements for one of the following federal programs:
Federal Skilled Worker (FSW)
Federal Skilled Trades (FST)
Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
How to best prepare your Express entry profile
To ensure that your application is fully completed and up to date, we've listed some important points for you to double-check whether your application is ready to be submitted:
Check if your documents are updated and are the most recent versions.
Include valid language scores in your application that were taken in the last 2 years. This could be either IELTS, CELPIP, or TOEFL depending on your specific case.
Make sure your educational evaluation has been done for your highest level of education, and has been issued within the last 5 years.
Work experience letters should be prepared for all work completed within the last 10 years.
Obtain police certificates for all the countries where you have previously lived in the last 10 years for 6 months in a row or more.
Prepare marriage certificates, divorce certificates, and birth certificates for all the relevant parties included in your application.
