How it Works
The Global Talent Stream is designed for innovative firms in Canada that fit in one of two categories:
CATEGORY
A
Firms that are referred to Employment and Social Development Canada by a designated referral partner, and that need unique and specialized foreign nationals in order to scale-up and grow.
CATEGORY
B
Firms that need to fill an in-demand highly-skilled position on the Global Talent Occupations List.
What We Do
We begin by reviewing your case and assessing your eligibility for the Global Talent Stream. We also assess the likelihood of success for your application and the applicant’s eligibility for expedited processing (10-day processing).
Our next step is to verify that the employee has the required work experience and meets the eligibility criteria for the Global Talent Stream.
Next, we prepare the application. This involves collecting business legitimacy documentation, filling forms and cross-referencing information, completing an application for a Labour Market Impact Assessment and Work Permit, and developing a Labour Market Benefits Plan.
Included in our Work Permit Services:
-
Preparation of detailed cover letters highlighting how the criteria have been met;
-
Preparation of detailed cover letters highlighting the applicant's qualifications for the position;
-
Submission of the applications promptly to the appropriate government offices;
-
Monitoring the applications in progress and processing speeds, relative to other files we have submitted to the same offices;
-
Alerting a particular office when there are any processing delays with the applications; and
-
Ensuring confirmation and Canada Work Permit issuance
Working in Canada is a great way to gain the experience needed to stay in Canada permanently. We will determine the best way to proceed once the outcome of your case has been reached (i.e. application for Permanent Residence, Work Permit renewal, etc.).
